An eye for Photography
Photography has always mesmerized Eli. He was especially drawn to his grandfather’s photo albums with images from pre-World War II Poland, as well as post-war images. There were even a few photographs taken during the war. Eli recognized the power of the photograph, capturing moments in time in his grandfather’s albums of family photos.
Eli was born and raised in Toronto; he even spent a year of his childhood living in New York City. That some family friends were professional photographers also influenced his path toward photography. They commented that he had an eye for photography, even before Eli completed Humber College’s Photography Program.
He has been the photographer for the past three summers at Toronto’s Jack and Pat Kay Centre Camp. He has also worked as an assistant for one of Toronto’s leading photographers, and his images are for sale on stock photography websites.
